Highlights of our 2021-2022 Season included performing at the opening the Dragon Boat Races, featured concerts at the Ottawa World Migratory Bird Day Festival and the Buzzing Children’s Festival, a Trophy Prize for the second year in a row in the Kiwanis Music Festival, and a win in our first entry in the Ontario Provincial Music Festival! Ensemble We focus on musical expression, practice skills, and technical excellence in an environment that promotes discipline and mindfulness of body and spirit.

Capital Strings and Voices Collective hosts intergenerational ensembles including: The Capital Strings Collective Orchestra (CSC), Jr. Orchestra (JCSC), I Cellisti cello ensembles, and the Capital Voices Collective choir.

We welcome music lovers of varying ages and abilities who play violin, viola, cello or bass. No auditions are required: orchestra members should play at a minimum RCM Grade 5 or Suzuki Book 4 level; jr. orchestra members in Suzuki 1 (late) – Book 3 are welcome.
